Postby Cooper » Mon Aug 04, 2008 4:14 pm

this was annoying me for a while but then i realised how easy it was.

I have Ubuntu and XP on dual boot and i wanted to be able to choose whether XP or Ubuntu was default

menu.lst

(will finish when i have time next couple days i would image, just for now 'menu.lst' is the correct file to edit in ubuntu in the grub folder)

/boot/grub/menu.lst - change the default image to boot in that file (make a backup of it before you fiddle, this is how you trash computers if you get it wrong ;) ).
